These rod-chimes are designed to respond dynamically to touch and when set in motion. Each rod-chime set is comprised of 7 rods tuned to the Solfeggio frequencies over 3 octaves. The metal rods’ fundamentals are tuned to the Solfeggio frequencies and produce a soft drone, while the higher harmonics, released from the rods when clanking against one another, create melodies.
They come made in carbon steel and in bronze. These rod chimes can make very powerful tools in the hands of experienced sound practitioners and bring a texture of sound and quality not easily accessible through other common chimes.
Alchemizing the rods is a 2 steps process unique to Gaia Tone Art. This process combines the channeling of the qualitative presence and attributes of specific crystalline frequencies during the lengthy forming process of the metal, with water energized with the specific crystalline frequencies during the firing of the formed metal.
With each Solfeggio tuning, the metal is prepared with crystalline frequencies so as to enhance the rods with the intent of the specific Solfeggio frequency. See the list below for the crystal for each Solfeggio frequency:

Black Tourmaline
